The Ministry of Health recommends parents to vaccinate their children according to the National Immunisation Schedule1. DoctorOnCall and Pfizer have jointly launched “ASK4VACCINE”, a financing programme that aims to improve children’s access to pneumococcal vaccine in Malaysia.
The “ASK4VACCINE” programme enables Malaysian parents to give their children the protection against pneumococcal disease via a 12-month interest-free instalment payment plan with the programme’s financing partners.

Children who missed their shots should still get vaccinated4 as they can be at risk of diseases such as pneumococcal5 and meningococcal6. The number of doses recommended and the intervals between doses will depend on the child’s age when vaccination begins4.
